Project background

A precision plating or PCB-related enquiry often starts with a request for a titanium anode, but the final configuration depends on plating chemistry, pattern requirements, current distribution and the geometry of the existing line.

Key technical questions

  • What electrolyte system is used and what metals or additives are present?
  • Is the process DC plating, pulse plating, reverse-pulse plating, copper recovery or another surface-treatment process?
  • What current density, anode-cathode distance, bath dimensions and line speed are expected?
  • What anode shape, connection structure, fixture interface and replacement frequency are required?

TJNE review logic

TJNE treats PCB and precision plating anodes as current-distribution components rather than simple plates. Coating direction, substrate geometry and connection method should be reviewed together with the bath and process requirements.

TJNE supply scope

  • Titanium-based anodes and functional electrodes for electroplating and electrowinning processes.
  • Customized plate, mesh, tubular or special-structure electrodes according to drawings and bath requirements.
  • Coating direction reviewed according to reaction type, current density and electrolyte environment.
  • Process-result guarantees should be confirmed through line conditions and, where appropriate, testing.

Project outcome

The enquiry moved from a general PCB anode request to a clearer match between plating chemistry, electrode structure and production-line interface before a technical proposal.

Project note: Configuration and supply scope are reviewed according to operating conditions, process targets and project interface requirements.
